A WARM Winter for Cape Films, Producers of Critically Acclaimed Single by Becky Hill

LONDON, Jan. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cape Films has produced the hotly anticipated video for Becky Hill's critically acclaimed single, "Warm," produced by Shift K3Y. The London based film production company, known for their narrative storytelling, were excited to work with Becky Hill, the English singer and songwriter from Bewdley, Worcestershire. Becky rose to prominence after appearing on the first series of The Voice UK, and became the first The Voice UK contestant to score a UK number 1. Becky has previously collaborated with Matoma, MK, Rudimental and Oliver Heldens on various types of music and experimental pieces.

Cape Films creative team delivered a stunning visual concept that would portray Becky's feelings of loneliness and solitude. The video that was produced was to create a lonely, moody, dark, solitary video that conveyed the feeling of isolation that London can impose on you. The lyrics translate those feelings, and Cape Films was successful in expressing them visually to the audience.

"When I wrote 'WARM', I wanted to convey the feeling of loneliness that I had for a while and then, coming out the other side of that," said Becky Hill when she was asked what the song "WARM" was all about. "It was super important for the video to reflect the same feeling and it was also important that London was the location for it. I really understood what they say about it being a lonely place and for a long time I felt like I was walking around really cool places with no one to share it with. I love the way the aesthetic really brings the song to life and I'm so happy I now get to share it with everyone else."
