ATLANTA, Nov. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Aaron's, Inc., (NYSE: AAN), a leader in the sales and lease ownership and specialty retailing of furniture, consumer electronics, home appliances and accessories, today announced plans to surprise 11 military families in honor of Veterans Day with room makeovers. The recipient families will be able to select the room that Aaron's will fill with furniture, electronics and appliances.

"These veterans and their families have given so much through their service and Aaron's is proud to give back to these military families to thank them for their dedication."
Aaron's is teaming up with nonprofits and government agencies including Fisher House Foundation, United Military Care, Inc. and the Tennessee National Guard to identify families who will receive the makeovers. This surprise delivery is made possible through Aaron's Community Outreach Program (ACORP). ACORP is Aaron's store-based giving program, established in 1999, where stores earn funds each month to give back to non-profits in their local communities.
The makeovers will help kick start "Salute.Serve.Save," Aaron's new year-round military appreciation program for active and reserve military members and veterans. Beginning November 11, Aaron's is offering up to $200 off on a new lease agreement. Qualified participants will get up to $100 off their first payment and up to $100 off their last payment. The offer applies to a new lease agreement open with a lease term of 12 months or longer.

In addition, active military and veterans will also receive 10 percent off all payments on their new lease agreement. Customers who show valid documentation that they are currently serving or have served in the military can participate in the "Salute.Serve.Save" program when they open a new lease agreement. This special program is also available to military spouses.
