WASHINGTON, Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AARP reacted today to new survey findings from GfK MRI that AARP The Magazine (ATM) is officially America's most-read magazine. ATM, AARP's monthly magazine and flagship publication, continues to serve as a primary source of information and entertainment for people age 50-plus – with a readership of 38.3 million – the largest of any magazine in the U.S., according to data from market research firm GfK MRI.
In less than 10 years, ATM has moved from America's fourth most-read magazine to No. 1, while increasing readership by 5.1 million. According to the latest MRI data, two-thirds (66%) of ATM readers read four out of four issues, a figure that has remained steady in 10+ years of measurement.
