A.B. Data, Ltd. Receives Highest Industry Honor
American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) recognizes A.B. Data, Ltd. for exceptional work during its annual conference
MILWAUKEE, April 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A.B. Data, Ltd. is proud to announce that it has been awarded six of the coveted Pollie Awards from the AAPC, the industry's highest honor bestowed upon political consultants at the national and international level. A.B. Data was recognized for its direct marketing work by winning the prestigious "Gold" Award for the best fundraising campaign of 2012 and the Gold Presidential Pollie for the 2012 political season's successful Obama for America 2012 campaign.
"This year's Pollie Awards were especially exciting given the very competitive 2012 election cycle. We continue to see in our entries new, creative efforts to reach voters through both traditional voter contact tactics and innovative, groundbreaking social media strategies," said AAPC President Dale Emmons (D-KY).
The AAPC announced this year's winners at the 2013 Annual Pollie Awards & Conference on April 5 in Washington, D.C.
"The 2012 Obama for America direct mail fundraising campaign was, by every measure, the most successful in American political history. We raised more money and received more individual contributions than any campaign in American history," according to Chuck Pruitt, A.B. Data's Co-Managing Director.
Many factors contributed to the record-breaking success of the 2012 Obama for America direct mail fundraising campaign—cutting-edge donor file segmentation strategies, state-of-the-art micro-targeting for potential donors, multi-channel integration moving donors seamlessly from offline to online to offline again. "And perhaps the most significant factor in our success can be seen in the creative strategies used in the direct mail packages developed for the campaign. We take pride in the fact that the AAPC recognized those unique creative packages with their highest awards," commented Pruitt.
A.B. Data is a full-service direct marketing fundraising company that, for more than 30 years, has delivered innovative creative and strategic counsel to progressive political candidates, as well as issue advocacy and charitable organizations.
The Pollie Awards (Pollies) are bipartisan honors awarded annually by the AAPC to members of the political advertising and communications industry who have demonstrated superior work on behalf of their candidates and causes. A blind jury of their peers selects AAPC award winners. Esquire magazine has dubbed the Pollies as "the Oscars of political advertising."
The annual Pollie Awards & Conference marked the beginning of the next political season where political professionals gathered to learn, celebrate, relax, network and refuel for the upcoming 2014 election cycle.
