Abilis Solutions Signs Partnership Agreement with IBM Global Business Services to Increase Worldwide Delivery Capabilities of its CORIS® Offender Management System
MONTREAL, Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Abilis Solutions announced today a new collaboration with IBM to simultaneously expand capabilities to address complex offender information management challenges in corrections agencies around the world. Montreal-based Abilis, known for its CORIS® Offender Management System (OMS), will leverage the presence of skilled IBM public safety experts in key markets around the world to increase its local delivery and support capacity. Today's announcement took place at the kick-off of the 20th annual conference of the International Corrections and Prisons Association in Montreal, attended by more than 600 corrections executives, public policy experts and academics from over 70 countries.
With help from the Abilis partnership, IBM immediately broadens its array of proven applications for justice and public safety agencies around the world. This collaboration includes a commitment for both parties to work together to create an IBM CORIS® center of excellence focused on the deployment and support of the CORIS® OMS. Further, it ensures that IBM public safety consultants can deliver CORIS® expertise, on-the-ground project management and delivery services, and locally-based support resources for corrections agencies.
