AboutOne Appoints Paul B. Allen to Board of Directors

Allen to the company's Board of Directors. Allen is the former Founder and CEO of Ancestry.com and currently serves as Gallup's Strengths Evangelist.

Prior to joining Gallup, Allen started several software and internet-based businesses. In 1997, he co-founded Ancestry.com and served first as its CEO. As the company grew, he moved to the role of vice president of marketing, managing all the online marketing channels. Other career highlights include 10x Marketing, an internet marketing agency Allen founded that specialized in search engine and affiliate marketing and was acquired by Innuity in June 2005. He also founded FamilyLink, which developed the "We're Related" Facebook application. This app, which quickly attracted 80 million users, enabled people to find relatives on Facebook and build a family tree.
