VANCOUVER, June 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Absolute® Software Corporation (TSX: ABT), the industry standard for persistent endpoint security and management solutions for computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones, today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Niche quadrant of the Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) Software Magic Quadrant (formerly the Mobile Device Management Software Magic Quadrant).*

This is the second year Absolute Software has been included in this Magic Quadrant. Absolute Software is also positioned in the Visionaries quadrant of the Gartner, Inc. Client Management Tools Magic Quadrant** and the Niche quadrant of the Content-Aware Data Loss Prevention Magic Quadrant***.

Absolute Software's EMM solution, Absolute Manage®, allows customers to remotely manage and secure all the mobile devices in their deployments including Android, iOS, and Windows® Phone devices. But unlike other vendors, Absolute Manage extends management capabilities to include PC and Mac computers, providing customers with the ability to manage all of their devices within a single console.
