Academy Intensive Celebrates 25 Years in Business
KINGS LYNN, England, July 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Academy Intensive is this week celebrating 25 years in business offering intensive & residential driving courses. Originally set up to give people an alternative to learning to drive in London, they now have people all over the world!
During this time they have become one of the most recommended driving courses in the UK having had hundreds if not thousands of happy customers.
They have achieved this by not going down the route of gimmicks like 'guaranteed pass' or 'car sharing with other customers to keep prices down'; instead they went for good old fashioned honesty and customer service! This clearly shows as for such a small company there is an abundance of great customer reviews, some of which can be found on their website http://www.academy.me.uk.
Their commitment to service means they arrange everything, the driving test (taking on the last hour of the last day of their course), accommodation, and instruction, they even meet customers from the train station!
Over the years the driving tests have become more difficult but each time Academy Intensive has risen to the new challenges - but the toughest battle might yet be coming up!
There are going to be new changes to learning to drive and though nothing has been officially said, there is talk of banning intensive courses; Academy Intensive are clearly against the ban. Pete Brason who runs Academy Intensive has stated many times, 'looking at the standard of hourly lesson pupils coming from somewhere like London who have never been over 20mph and completely panic at the thought of joining a dual-carriageway compared with our level of training the ban would be a complete joke! These people are potentially dangerous!'
Academy Intensive is well aware that some intensive course companies are well below standard in teaching and always urge potential customers to 'do their homework' before booking with any company, check out the reviews, check the grade of the instructor, etc. They also urge customers to be honest about their own ability and book the right length of course to best suit their individual needs.
Strangely on review of their test results Academy Intensive have found they have a higher pass rate on intensive courses compared with hourly lessons. The difference would be even greater if some customers had not opted for shorter courses than suggested in the hope of saving some money! On reflection it seems people go into the test feeling more confident after completing an intensive course.
Academy Intensive are based in the lovely town of Kings Lynn in rural Norfolk and are easy to get to by train, there is even a direct link from Kings Cross station which will only take around 1.5 hours.
