Accedian Launches VisionMETRIX 4.0 for Improved SD-WAN Monitoring and Reporting

MONTREAL, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Accedian, the end-to-end network performance experts, announced today the launch of VisionMETRIX™ 4.0, the latest version of its network performance monitoring and reporting web portal for service providers and operators. New features align with operator adoption of dynamic, configurable software-defined wide area networks (SD-WANs) to deliver connectivity and value-added services for business customers.

VisionMETRIX 4.0 is an easy-to-access, easy-to-navigate web portal for operators to monitor both Carrier Ethernet-based mobile backhaul and business service performance. VisionMETRIX can report on service level agreements (SLAs) with pinpoint accuracy and at minimal cost. It also provides customers with an accurate performance data view of network health and proof that the operator is meeting its agreed SLA requirements.

The latest version of VisionMETRIX includes advanced analytics tools that allow operators to provide customers with more accurate quality of service (QoS) monitoring and analysis, ensuring SLAs are being met. By connecting directly to SDN controllers, VisionMETRIX updates its per-second network reporting automatically when the service provider—or end-user—makes changes to network connections, services, or SLAs.

Operators can use VisionMETRIX to:

• Quickly identify and isolate the location of a problem and confirm which customer(s) it affects
