SK Telecom's fully automated SDN mobile network with Accedian 'nervous system' tops Best Mobile Technology

Accedian's award was presented yesterday at a ceremony which took place at Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. Accedian was also nominated by the GSMA's CTO office for overall outstanding mobile technology.

Judged by a panel of independent industry experts, Accedian's technology was recognized for its ability to provide the real-time, network-wide view of performance and quality of experience (QoE) that acts as the nervous system driving SK Telecom's software-defined network (SDN), a big data analytics driven, multi-vendor environment. Accedian was credited by the judges as being a foundational technology to deliver exceptional user experience over LTE and 5G networks. Accedian beat strong competition, with the GSMA noting that this year's awards had more than 930 entrants.
