Accelera Solutions, Inc. Hires Steven H. Weiss as the President and Chief Operating Officer

FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelera Solutions, Inc., an industry leader in Cloud, Mobility, and Virtualization solutions, announced today that Steven H. Weiss will be joining Accelera as the President and Chief Operating Officer.  Mr. Weiss will be supporting Accelera in its mission to empower people to improve their quality of life – and their business – through market leading technology solutions that have earned distinguished recognition from industry partners.

Mr. Weiss brings more than 30 years of proven senior-level operations and acquisition management experience to Accelera Solutions, Inc.  He served as the Executive Vice President for Government Business Operations at CACI International Inc. for the past 10 years.  During his tenure at CACI, he played an integral role growing revenue from approximately $1.5 billion to $4.4 billion in 2016.

At CACI he was a member of the senior management Team and was valued for his teambuilding, problem solving and negotiation skills.  Mr. Weiss is a recognized expert in the Government Contracting Industry and has helped both small and large businesses grow and operate efficiently.  He takes great pride in workforce development and building a culture based on ethics, integrity and good character.  Mr. Weiss also served as CACI's Corporate Ombudsman, where he was a designated neutral third party and champion of ethical business practices, helping managers and employees resolve workplace disputes.  "We couldn't be more excited to have Steve on our team.  His tremendous experience and people-first attitude will serve Accelera's valued customers, partners, and employees exceptionally well," said Terrill Andrews, Executive Vice President of Accelera Solutions.

Prior to joining CACI, Steve served 18 years at Science Applications International Corporation

(SAIC), rising to the level of Senior Vice President.  Additionally, Mr. Weiss spent a total of 20 years on Active Duty and in the Air Force Reserves.  He also serves on the Board of Directors for Linden Resources, a non-profit corporation providing meaningful employment for Veterans and people with disabilities.

Mr. Weiss holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Florida and a MS Degree in Public Administration from Troy State University.
