CHICAGO, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelerated Physical Therapy recently purchased the naming rights to a new sports complex in Northbrook, IL. The Accelerated Center is a sports and events facility, featuring 72,000-square-feet of turf field, a full size gymnasium that will also serve as a banquet area, party and conference rooms, as well as a 5,000-square-foot outdoor patio. The Accelerated Center provides a unique athletic environment for youth and adults alike, offering a diverse platform of sports and child development programs.

A ground breaking ceremony featuring members of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives from Pepsi and Gatorade is scheduled for Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. at its future site, 1900 Old Willow Rd. in Northbrook. Accelerated officials Eric Warner, CEO and Reem Given, Regional Vice President will also be present in order to commemorate the event. The Accelerated Center is slated to open during a grand opening ceremony at the beginning of November.

Several sports teams and clubs are already scheduled to practice and play at the complex including Glenview Soccer Club, Final Impact Volleyball, Launch Volleyball, Lil Kickers, Spartan Soccer Club, Coerver Training Academy, Throw it Deep Football, Windy City Field Hockey and Wilmette Wings.
