Accelify Announces Acquisition of Special Education Information System

STOCKTON, Calif., May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Accelify, LLC announced today the acquisition of Special Education Information System (SEIS), the leading IEP management system in the state of California.  SEIS was developed by the San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) and its Center for Educational Development and Research (CEDR) department.  Since its launch in 2003, it has proven to be an effective tool for managing the IEP development process for both teachers and administrators, including 89 SELPAs and over 850 school districts across the state of California.

As part of the purchase, existing SJCOE/CEDR staff will continue to manage the SEIS program for at least the next two years.  Customers will also retain all the rights under their existing contracts.
