NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its ongoing efforts to give back to the communities in which it serves, Acceptance Insurance is proud to once again be a presenting sponsor of the Sista Strut Breast Cancer Walk in multiple cities across the country. The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues of breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources.
"We've had the privilege to sponsor Sista Strut since 2016. I've attended the Nashville walk, and it was truly inspiring to see so many people come together to support survivors and others who have been affected by breast cancer," said Chief Insurance Officer Juliet Diiorio. "We understand the importance of people having the information they need about this disease and are thrilled to increase the number of walks we're involved in this year from 8 to 12. Our first walk this year is in Nashville on March 30, and we invite the community to join us. We'll have pink boas to hand out and a huge pink chair for selfies! While it's an emotional experience, it's also a lot of fun!"
In addition to Nashville, Acceptance Insurance will also be sponsoring and participating in upcoming walks in Memphis, Florence, Augusta, Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Houston, Mobile, Macon, Chicago, Montgomery, and Tampa. Acceptance thanks Cracker Barrel and iHeart Media for the opportunity to once again contribute to Sista Strut's efforts to educate and support the communities in which it operates and serves.
