Accessing Smartphone Images is Easier Than Ever with a New Image Uploading Option at CVS/pharmacy Photo Centers

WOONSOCKET, R.I., Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS/pharmacy announces that shoppers can now wirelessly upload images from their mobile devices to a KODAK Picture Kiosk, to create a wide variety of photo products such as Photo Books, Personal Greetings, Calendars, and more, at CVS/pharmacy Photo Center locations nationwide. This new service is just in time for the holidays, allowing customers to quickly create photo gifts for family, friends and colleagues.

To access the service, customers must download the free KODAK Kiosk Connect App – available in Google Play or the Apple App Store – to wirelessly and securely import personal photos from their mobile device to CVS/pharmacy Kodak Picture Kiosks. Once the mobile device is successfully synced to the Kodak Picture Kiosk, customers are shown simple and intuitive steps to get started and begin creating their products.

As the number of customers using mobile app photo technology steadily climbs, this CVS/pharmacy service provides a new way to quickly preserve and share memories with friends and family. Whether shoppers seek to personalize photo cards and invitations for gatherings, or spruce up their home with wall decor such as Canvas Prints or Posters – the new service makes it easier than ever.

In addition to expanding in-store photo services, CVS/pharmacy currently offers shoppers on-the-go printing options with the CVS/pharmacy Mobile app, allowing them to easily print photos directly from their smartphone or from their CVSphoto.com account for pick up, at a local CVS/pharmacy the very same day. The CVS/pharmacy Mobile app can also be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
