The holding company 'E.L. Cravatte' was founded in 2004 and established a strong track record in the first generation of webshops. E.L.Cravatte began activities as an online retailer of premium ties with stropdassenwinkel.nl in the Netherlands and Krawattenspezialist.de.
This has now grown into a conglomerate of 70 webshops, specialised in accessories for him and her. E.L. Cravatte is now active in 7 European countries and plans to extend activities into Scandinavia shortly.

E.L. Cravatte webshops across all countries have been refreshed and share the same new layout and navigation, distinguished from each other based on a different colour scheme per webshop. The online shopping cart is transferrable across the entire range of webshops for client convenience. A customer can select a tie, pocket square and matching cufflinks in the different webshops and checkout just once at the end. An important development is also the way the database of more than 2000 products has been optimised. This allows for not only easier customer navigation through the assortment but also more rapid page loading. This means waiting to examine your products online is a thing of the past. In addition, the navigation and checkout process has been further simplified with usability and convenience being the key focus.
