The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently announced it will launch the newly developed Accountable Care Organization Realizing Equity, Access, and Community Health (ACO REACH) model in January 2023. A redesign of the Global and Professional Direct Contracting model, ACO REACH aims to increase participation from primary care physicians (PCPs) and other eligible professionals in value-based payment models.
