SAN RAMON, Calif., Feb. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AccountNow, Inc. today announced that tax payers nationwide who have their Federal or state tax refund directly deposited into their AccountNow Prepaid Visa® Card, Prepaid MasterCard® or AccountNow Gold Visa® Prepaid Card will automatically be entered into its Tax Refund Sweepstakes where the winner's tax refund could be tripled up to $15,000. Seven $500 First Prizes will also be awarded in the Tax Refund Sweepstakes which runs from January 16 to April 30, 2013. Winners will be posted on AccountNow's Tax Refund Portal. Consumers do not need to have an existing AccountNow Card account to use the Tax Portal.   They can sign up for a new AccountNow Card account at the Tax Refund Portal and follow the on-screen prompts to prepare and e-file their return.  Most filers will be able to complete their tax return online and e-file it in 30 minutes or less. And tax payers filing paper income tax returns can have their refund loaded into an AccountNow Card too by simply entering their account and routing numbers on the last page of their return just like taxpayers completing their return online. The instructions are easy to follow.
