ACE Cash Express Donates $106,280 to American Red Cross at Dallas City Hall

DALLAS, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE Cash Express, Inc., a leading retailer of financial services, presented a $106,280 donation check to American Red Cross in support of the ongoing Haiti relief efforts.

The check presentation was held at a Dallas City Council meeting where executives from ACE Cash Express and American Red Cross were in attendance.  This donation was presented in conjunction with ACE Cash Express receiving a proclamation from the City of Dallas for their community outreach efforts.

"ACE is dedicated to giving back to society and the money raised by our associates for the Haiti relief effort is a true testament to this commitment," said ACE President and CEO Jay Shipowitz.  "We asked our customers to make a donation to this cause and as always, they stepped up to help those in need."

ACE raised this money by asking its customers to make a donation to American Red Cross during a 17-day campaign in their retail stores across the nation.
