ACE Cash Express donates school supplies to 87 classrooms nationwide

DALLAS, Aug. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This fall, ACE Cash Express will provide school supplies to 87 classrooms throughout the nation after making a $51,336.56 donation to AdoptAClassroom.org in support of their mission to provide funds to teachers for the purchase of materials for their classroom.

"Many of the students in these classrooms would not have basic school supplies such as paper or pencils if it weren't for funding from our partners," said Jamie Rosenberg, founder of AdoptAClassroom.org.  "We are so appreciative of ACE Cash Express for this donation."

AdoptAClassroom.org is a non-profit organization that connects donors with teachers whose students are without basic school supplies. Donors then select classrooms to "adopt" and provide them with the resources they need.

More than 400 ACE locations supported AdoptAClassroom.org during the annual Give a Little Campaign, ACE's nationwide in-store fundraiser. Other organizations supported during this campaign were Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, Junior Achievement, Back on My Feet, First Book and Girls Inc.

The Give a Little Campaign is a part of ACE's corporate-giving program, the Community Fund, which has provided more than $7.3 million since its inception in 2004 and continues to support organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy.
