ACE Cash Express Provides 15,196 Meals to North Texans

DALLAS, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ACE Cash Express, Inc., a leading retailer of financial services, helped feed the hungry this holiday season by providing 15,196 meals to North Texans in need.

For the ninth consecutive year, ACE hosted a four-week campaign against hunger in support of the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization.  Every dollar donated to NTFB supplies three meals to North Texans as a part of NTFB's 'ReThink Hunger' campaign, a three-year initiative to provide healthier food, develop new ways to extend their reach and improve the lives of those they serve.

This year, ACE met its fundraising goal of $5,000 and will also donate 235 lbs. of food to the North Texas Food Bank, providing a total of 15,196 meals. These contributions are made possible thanks to ACE's corporate office employees.

"One in six individuals in North Texas suffers from food insecurity," said Jan Pruitt, president and CEO of NTFB.
