DALLAS, Aug. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 200 ACE stores raised a total of $138,332.66 for AdoptAClassroom.org, a nonprofit organization that provides funds for school supplies to teachers, during ACE's annual Give A Little Campaign.
"We are so appreciative of our partners at ACE Cash Express," said Bob Thacker, Executive Director of AdoptAClassroom.org. "Each year, teachers spend their own money to buy basic school supplies for their classroom and students. The funds raised by ACE will help alleviate some of this expense for the adopted teachers."
The Give A Little Campaign is a national in-store fundraiser that supports charities that are chosen by ACE employees. This year, ACE selected 236 classrooms across the nation to provide funds for school supplies.

Nationally, the 2015 Give A Little Campaign raised more than $447,000 for the local chapters of AdoptAClassroom.org, Autism Speaks, Back on My Feet, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, National Down Syndrome Society, Providence House and the Stars Scholarship Fund. This fundraiser is a part of ACE's charitable-giving program, the ACE Community Fund, which has donated more than $9.7 million to organizations across the nation since its inception in 2004.
