Farwell to be successor
CLEVELAND, July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Patricia W. Nobili, President and CEO of the Achievement Centers for Children, announced she will be retiring in early 2015. The Board of Directors congratulates and commends her on her 21 years of visionary leadership and accomplishing a significant agency transformation. The nearly 75 year old nonprofit organization, which serves children with disabilities and their families, experienced unprecedented growth, expanded and created numerous new programs, improved all their facilities, and significantly raised their visibility in the community during Ms. Nobili's tenure.
The Achievement Centers for Children's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Sally Farwell will assume the President & CEO position upon Ms. Nobili's retirement. Ms. Farwell has been the Executive Vice President of Programs at the Achievement Centers for Children for 19 years and has worked creatively with Ms. Nobili in expanding the reach and presence of the Achievement Centers in our community. The Board is confident in a successful transition and that Ms. Farwell, with her depth and breadth of knowledge and experience, will lead the agency to continued accomplishments and growth going forward.
