ACHLA Hosts Whelan & Polistina at Hospitality Industry-Themed Senatorial Debate on Oct. 17th
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Democrat Jim Whelan and Republican Vince Polistina, both vying for State Senate seats this election, will face off in a hospitality-themed debate sponsored by the Atlantic City Hotel & Lodging Association (ACHLA), Atlantic City Weekly, Boardwalk Journal, and WOND-AM on Monday, October 17, 2011 in the Circus Maximus Theater at Caesars Atlantic City, hosted by Don Marrandino, Eastern Division President of Caesars Entertainment.
Local hospitality leaders will pose the debate questions, which will cover significant issues in the hospitality/tourism industry.
The event will start at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. The debate begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $35 when reserved before the event or $40 at the door. In addition, a 'meet and greet' with the candidates is available at 8 p.m. The 'meet and greet' ticket is $65 and includes admission to the debate, followed by an open bar cocktail reception featuring tasty treats.
