Acromove Inc. Debuts New Thunderpack Mini and ServerPack at NAB 2017, Shows Updated ThunderPack

LOS ANGELES, April 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Acromove Inc., a manufacturer of unique hyper-converged and Thunderbolt RAID systems, today announced the debut of the Thunderpack Mini portable RAID storage system destined to become the industry standard for location productions. The founders will be demonstrating the system at NAB 2017 in booth SL13605 (South Hall Lower Level) from April 24^th – 27^th.

ThunderPack Mini is built using advanced, lightweight materials including aircraft-grade aluminum and carbon fiber elements. The unit is self-contained in an IP67-rated watertight, dustproof Pelican case that can be stowed in an overhead airline bin. It uses a sophisticated power management system with built-in Li-ion battery array that serves as a UPS and can power the unit up to 6 hours, as well as operate an external LTO drive. There is a 12-22v connector so it can be powered by external battery packs and an optional solar panel. Its unique shockproof and patented disk pod holds eight 2.5" HDDs or SSDs impervious to shock and vibration. Capacity is up to 40TB.

The ServerPack is a hyper-converged software-defined system that combines portable storage, compute, networking and virtualization technologies in one physical unit that is managed as a single system. ServerPack can include wireless and GPS capabilities, and is OS and software application agnostic allowing customers to deploy it in virtually any environment. Together with the OSNEXUS QuantaStor SDS Data Migration Edition it is ideal for on-site digital production or content distribution.
