Martial Arts Comedy Production Seeking Funding via Kickstarter
MEMPHIS, Tenn., June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- A new film fundraising campaign to bankroll the upcoming installment of the award-winning GAUNTLET RUN kicks off today.
Written, produced, and choreographed by Jyo "Six" Carolino, short film GAUNTLET RUN is the story of a team of not-so-normal heroes who are called to rescue a damsel in distress. Garrett Atkinson co-directed, shot, and edited the first installment of the movie, which is winning awards all over the world.
Accolades for GAUNTLET RUN include Best Action award at Los Angeles Film Awards 2017, Best Action Honorable Mention in Top Shorts Online Film Fest 2017, and Best Action and Best Director awards at TOP Indie Film Awards 2016.
Carolino, who is a professional fight and dance choreographer wants GAUNTLET RUN to be the next big action/comedy series. Fans can make sure they see more action-packed fun on the big screen by contributing to the making of the next GAUNTLET RUN via Kickstarter.
The money raised will be used to purchase new camera equipment, lights, and other technical necessities as well as fight weapons to be used in the new stunts.

Jyo "Six" Carolino is a professional fight/dance choreographer representing the Society of American Fight Directors and Dance Nocturnal Productions. He grew up studying many forms of martial arts and self-defense shooting before developing a passion for theatrical violence. His choreography has spanned over half a decade, seen in the Dance Nocturnal film I AM SPARTAN. Six is also a freelance voice actor and motion capture specialist. His voice can be heard on Chatterbox Audio Theatre, several audiobooks, a local radio station, and the Horror City podcast.
