ActiveCare, Inc. Reports First Quarter Results

SALT LAKE CITY, May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ActiveCare, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ACAR) a service technology company that develops and provides 24/7 in your own home assisted living and emergency response solutions to seniors today reported significant top line growth. For the quarter ending on December 31, 2010, ActiveCare posted revenue of $174,440 compared to $112,855 from a year ago, a 55% growth in revenues.  Revenue from Care Service and recurring revenue from services provided to seniors accounted for the majority of the quarter over quarter growth. Revenues from this division increased from $4,400 for December 2009 quarter to $55,800 for the December 2010 quarter.  "Our growth is a result of a focus on bringing our solution to the market," stated James Dalton, CEO of ActiveCare.

The net loss for the first fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2010 was $1,685,658 compared to $1,262,076 the same period a year ago, an increase of $423,582.  This was primarily due to increased selling, general, and administrative expenses associated with the launch of the Company's new product and service offerings.

The Company also reported a decrease in Shareholders' Equity from $1,484,722 for the first fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2009 to $544,034 for the same period ended 2010.
