Actress/Model Shannon Elizabeth Lends a Hand at Mount Sinai Kravis Center in Support of National Teddy Bear Day & enCourage Kids Foundation

NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Shannon Elizabeth, actress and enCourage Kids Ambassador, made a live appearance on Mount Sinai's KidZone TV located in Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital on Fifth Avenue in New York City in honor of National Teddy Bear Day. Shannon co-hosted Medical Bingo with Child Life Specialist Nicole Wood as the children played right from their hospital bed.

After the winners were announced, Shannon was joined by Michele Hall Duncan, CEO and President of the enCourage Kids Foundation, and delivered teddy bears to the children. "Nearly 2,400 bears were given to hospitalized children for National Teddy Bear Day 2019. Shannon Elizabeth brought her incredible love for animals and children as co-host of KidZone TV today. We are thrilled to have her as an enCourage Kids Foundation Ambassador," said Duncan.

"It was a such a fun afternoon co-hosting Medical Bingo and delivering bears to the pediatric patients for National Teddy Bear Day. Mount Sinai's KidZone TV is a state-of-the-art, interactive production and internal broadcast studio that produces live programming three times a day, seven days a week, for pediatric patients and families.
