HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., May 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- AdamAndEve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com/news), America's most trusted source for adult products, is never afraid to ask the hard questions when it comes to anything sexual. This month, the company asked women what their number one complaint is with sex toys, and the results may surprise you.
Just over half (50.1%) of the females said their biggest complaint with sex toys was that they were too expensive. The next most popular complaints included toys being too loud (19.3%) and poorly made (16.4%). Other complaints included vibrations not being strong enough (6.6%), toys being too big (4%), vibrations being too strong (2.5%), and toys not being big enough (1.2%).
"As a woman, I can certainly relate," says Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for AdamAndEve.com. "However, toys have vastly improved over the past few years. And armed with a little research, women can find exactly what they need to make their toes curl – and at a price that works for them."
"Adam & Eve encourages all adults to explore their sexuality from the privacy of their own home," says AdamAndEve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. "Because we know individual needs vary, we are happy to offer thousands of sex toys to meet every need and budget."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her new book, "The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life," can be found on Amazon.com.
