Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Centres Bellwood and Edgewood Join to Form a National Network of Providers

Edgewood Health Network to provide high-quality care Canada-wide

TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2014 /CNW/ - Bellwood Health Services (Bellwood) and Edgewood Treatment Centre (Edgewood) have joined together to form Canada's largest single provider of adult addiction and mental health treatment under the Edgewood Health Network (EHN). A truly national option, EHN combines two world-class mental health and addiction centres and their outpatient offices to deliver a standardized, premium level of care.

According to Stats Canada, one in three Canadians (approximately 9 million people) have suffered from a mental health issue or addiction at some point in their life. EHN addresses a growing demand for support and the much needed care for the millions of Canadians dealing with these diseases. With a combined 50 years of experience in the treatment of mental health and addiction, EHN brings together the resources of Bellwood and Edgewood and draws on a proud tradition of providing advanced care with a strong emphasis on customized, long-term continuing care and support to patients.
