Adorno & Yoss Changes Its Name to Yoss LLP
Commitment to Diversity Reaffirmed With Additional Appointment to Executive Committee
CORAL GABLES, Fla., Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the separation of its Chairman Henry N. 'Hank' Adorno from the firm as a result of a suspension ordered by Florida's Supreme Court, the law firm of Adorno & Yoss has changed its name effective immediately to Yoss LLP.
"Although we continue to be supportive of co-founder Hank Adorno during this time, our priorities are client service and the day-to-day operation of the firm without interruption," said George T. Yoss, Managing Partner.
In addition to the firm name change, the partnership unanimously appointed attorney A. Wayne Gill, Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Delray Beach, Florida office and Chair of the firm's Corporate Asset Recovery practice group to replace Mr. Adorno on the firm's Executive Committee. "Gill's appointment to the firm's Executive Committee reaffirms the firm's commitment to its role as a leader in diversity in the legal profession. We will continue to deliver first rate legal services, while fostering diversity that is reflective of the communities where we operate," added Yoss.
