Adsposure and GoDurham Launch New Advertising Partnership; First Advertisement Showcases the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' Blue Whales Exhibition

The Transit Advertising People have partnered with GoDurham and the City of Durham as the official provider of advertising services on GoDurham buses.

DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GoDurham officially announced the new advertising services partnership with Adsposure last week with an event featuring the first new advertisement, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and their "Blue Whales" exhibition.

Representatives from Adsposure, GoDurham, and the City of Durham came together to celebrate the launch, and to discuss the future of the advertising partnership, which runs through May 31, 2028.

The new partnership is geared to maximize GoDurham's assets and the valuable advertising space that can be leveraged. "Bus exteriors are known worldwide as an effective media investment for advertisers because they travel through the marketplace to the most needed interconnected locations," said Alex Souders, Director of Marketing for Adsposure. The City of Durham and GoDurham have set ambitious goals for the partnership, with Adsposure guaranteeing more than $1 million in funding for GoDurham. The agreement also includes performance incentives and additional revenue sharing if the full five-year contract is completed.

Adsposure expects revenue to surpass previous advertising partnerships and looks to identify additional revenue-generating opportunities that could exist, further supporting a strong and sustainable transit system for the Durham community.
