BURLINGTON, Vt., Nov. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Companies with rapidly changing critical data can now dramatically reduce their recovery point objective (RPO) by using QuorumSoft's breakthrough new single pass backup and replication capabilities for Citrix XenServer virtualized environments. QuorumSoft, a leading provider in data protection for virtual environments, is delivering this enhanced disaster recovery (DR) capability as part of its Alike™ backup and disaster recovery solution for Citrix XenServer.

Alike uses an innovative deduplication technology to reduce the time required for both first time and subsequent scheduled replication. XenServer users can back up multiple virtual machines (VMs) concurrently with Alike, making it possible to easily scale the solution to meet their unique requirements.
