EATONTOWN, N.J., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Health & Education, New Jersey's leading drug and alcohol treatment facility, has received LegitScript's Addiction Treatment Certification.
Following a vigorous application and review process, LegitScript has determined that Advanced Health & Education fits their criteria of a safe, legal, and legitimately operated drug and alcohol addiction treatment provider. This criteria and evaluation includes criminal background checks as well as license and insurance verification. According to LegitScript, "they must also provide written policies and procedures demonstrating a commitment to best practices, effective recovery and continuous improvement."
Currently, LegitScript provides the only certification service for drug and alcohol addiction treatment providers that is recognized by Google. As of September 2017, Google began limiting advertising for the addiction treatment industry in the US. Google released a statement that cited their reasoning for the restriction as "some rehab clinics advertising through Google AdWords do not provide the quality care that addicts need to successfully overcome their disease."
