Advisor Software Expands Management Team

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Advisor Software, Inc. announces that Thuyen Nguyen and Kevin Kraus have joined the firm to help Advisor Software enter its next stage of growth in the financial technology space. Both executives will report to Founder & CEO Andrew Rudd.

Thuyen Nguyen will oversee software engineering and define the technical architecture of the firm.  As Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Nguyen will help drive the development of world-class financial APIs and portfolio analytics, and deliver them via Advisor Software's Wealth Management Cloud™ platform.

Mr. Nguyen has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur and a senior executive in the investment services industry. He is also an expert in building distributed software applications as well as machine learning and data warehousing. Prior to joining Advisor Software, Mr. Nguyen was the CEO and CTO for Data Agent, LLC, a software company that was acquired in 2013 and specialized in combining data science and investment technology. The company was a leading software provider in the private fund regulatory compliance space.  He has a MBA in finance from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Columbia University.

Kevin Kraus joins the firm as Vice President of Product Management.  He will be responsible for overseeing and expanding Advisor Software's comprehensive suite of wealth management software applications.  He will also help define and build new wealth management APIs that allow Advisor Software to power some of the world's largest financial institutions.

Mr. Kraus has over 20 years of financial services experience at Charles Schwab where he held numerous client and product management roles, including responsibility for the trading technology platforms used by registered investment advisors who custody with Schwab. Most recently, he was responsible for supporting the acquisition and growth strategy for the retail active trader client business.  Mr. Kraus has a bachelor's degree from Providence College, and a MBA from Dominican University of California.
