AEO Launches New Brand to Highlight a Reinvigorated Mission Statement
LONDON, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
The Association of Event Organisers Ltd (AEO) has today launched its new branding as a clear signal of its reinvigorated mission to serving the events industry. The AEO has redefined themselves as a much more dynamic association with a vibrant new team and aims to communicate these changes through the re-brand.

Karim Halwagi, AEO Chief Executive, commented; "As the key events industry association, it is important that our members know who we are and the nature of our goals as an association. Ultimately, they understand the key role the association plays in supporting them and the events industry as a whole. Pushing this in the logo was imperative to us."
Mr Halwagi also went on to say, "We want to send out a message that clearly defines who we are and where we stand - one that says we are an organisation that inspires confidence. We are the voice of the industry and we're proud of what we've achieved and what we do for the events industry."
The new logo is a more modern design, but maintains a traditional feel, and illustrates the core message of the AEO: to be BOLD, CLEAR, COLLABORATIVE and FORWARD THINKING. Along with the logo comes a completely redesigned website.
The new logo also shows a commitment to evolving as an organisation, as well as broadening its membership and activity scope to include, amongst others, Event Producers and Experiential Agencies.
Alongside the rebrand, the AEO will launch new initiatives which include a new category of membership entitled 'AEO Enterprise Membership' to encourage small organisations to join and enjoy the benefits of the Associations, as well as profiting from access to a renewed AEO Mentorship Programme.
Of great importance is the newly developed AEO-BPA Event Audit product. The new cost effective audit will provide AEO Members with BPA-audited attendance and exhibitor data for their shows, with the option to add demographic and other data for additional incremental costs.
"The UK exhibitions sector is big business and it is essential that it not only adheres to and embraces best practice but that we make it as easy and as accessible as possible for our members to do so," explains Halwagi. "We are confident our new partnership with BPA will achieve this."
The AEO plans further announcements of enhanced and new initiatives later in the year.
