Aepona today launched its Application Ecosystem Program by announcing a partnership with Bango, the leading global provider of billing and analytics services for mobile content and applications.

Aepona's Application Ecosystem Partner program is designed to connect in-market applications and developer communities to Aepona's Mobile Operator customers, creating immediate new revenue sources for operators. The program provides content providers and application developer communities with increased reach and easy access to advanced direct-to-mobile billing capabilities and other mobile network enablers, via Aepona's Universal Service Platform (USP) deployed within the operators' networks.

For operators deploying the USP, the program provides immediate access to applications and services that utilize the operator's billing and network capabilities, creating a new revenue stream and increasing choice for their customers.
