Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Connecticut

TRUMBULL, Conn., Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoga Lily Studio is bringing the experts from Reaching Treetops (based in Wisconsin) to Trumbull, CT on March 1st-3rd, 2019 where they will host a training workshop that teaches the skills needed to become an aerial yoga teacher and how to successfully incorporate it into your programming or personal practice.
Applicants are not required to have any prior experience in order to attend the teacher training workshop. Class size will be small with plenty of hammock time for each person. Students will learn foundational poses, tricks and techniques necessary for teaching, and are highly encouraged to start earning apprentice hours soon after.
Students can expect the following beginner-level aerial yoga techniques taught in this teacher training workshop:
- Warm-up sequences on the hammock
- How to sequence a class
- Beginning level tricks and flips
- Safe rigging techniques
- Spotting techniques
- Sun Salutations

- Strength and conditioning
- Back bends and stretches
- Deep relaxation techniques
