Aeromexico Reports December 2014 Traffic Results

MEXICO CITY, Jan. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest airline in Mexico, today reported December 2014 operational results.

• Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 497 thousand passengers in December; a 0.1% year-on-year increase. International passenger numbers remained at the same level as December 2013, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 0.1%.
• Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased by 0.1%, year-on-year. Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 3.9% year-on-year.
• Aeromexico's December load factor was 77.6%.

• "Load Factor" equals the number of passengers transported as a percentage of the number of seats offered. It is a measure of the airline's capacity utilization. This metric takes into account the total passengers transported and total seats available in itinerary flights.
• "Passengers" refers to the total number of passengers transported by the airline.
