Aeromexico Reports February 2015 Traffic Results

MEXICO CITY, March 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeromexico, S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest airline in Mexico, today reported its February 2015 operational results.

• Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 342 thousand passengers in February; an 8.1% year-on-year increase. International passenger numbers increased by 12.5%, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 6.2%.
  
  
• Demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased by 8.0%, year-on-year. Aeromexico's capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased by 10.6% year-on-year.
  
  
• Aeromexico's February load factor was 75.6%.

• "Load Factor" equals the number of passengers transported as a percentage of the number of seats offered. It is a measure of the airline's capacity utilization. This metric takes into account the total passengers transported and total seats available in itinerary flights.
  
  
• "Passengers" refers to the total number of passengers transported by the airline.
