Aeropostale Celebrates First Annual 'Aero Gives Back Day'
Aeropostale Employees Participate in Volunteer Programs Throughout New York City
NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO), a mall-based specialty retailer of active and casual apparel for young women and men, today announced that Tuesday, December 13, 2011 is its inaugural 'Aero Gives Back Day', a day during which all Aeropostale corporate employees will give back to the local community. For 'Aero Gives Back Day', Aeropostale has partnered with New York Cares to choose volunteer programs throughout all five New York City boroughs in order to help those in need.
For the event, more than 450 Aeropostale employees will participate in 12 high-impact projects across New York City. They will be working directly with a variety of schools helping to revitalize campuses and provide students with coaching and support.
