AFCA Offers College Football Fans Opportunity To Meet Coaches At First-Ever Televised Awards Show In Nashville On Jan. 10

WACO, Texas, Nov. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Football Coaches Association® (AFCA®) will give college football fans the opportunity to gain exclusive access to the first-ever televised American Football Coaches Awards Show and meet several of the nation's top coaches January 10 in Nashville, Tennessee.

The American Football Coaches Awards "Meet Us in Music City" Sweepstakes gives fans a once-in-a-life experience to attend the show, a celebration of the 2016-2017 football season that presents several prestigious awards, including the AFCA FBS National Coach of the Year. The one-hour live show will air on CBS Sports Network at 9 p.m. EST from the Grand Ole Opry House.

The iconic Waterford® Crystal football, affectionately known as the "Crystal Ball", has been awarded to the national champion since its inception in 1986 and has been made available to all Coaches Poll winners since 1950.
