CloudLink® CX complements the CloudLink portfolio of award winning Cloud Security solutions to address the security requirements of VDI and virtual applications as well as the current Cloud infrastructure security demands.

New technologies such as cloud-based file sharing and enterprise BYOD initiatives make data more mobile and require a rethink of how data is secured.  Traditional perimeter based security approaches no longer fit the end users usage pattern.  Because data has become increasingly mobile and accessible from multiple locations, it is imperative that the data itself be protected, and that the policy associated with accessing the information, migrate with the data.

AFORE CloudLink CX empowers organizations to secure data across traditional security perimeters and multiple hosting domains by encrypting the data associated with each application at its source.  CloudLink CX provides a Secure Virtual Container for each trusted application and manages the security policy of each application independently.  The protection extends to network, storage and inter-process communications, such as the Windows clipboard.  CloudLink CX ensures sensitive information is secure everywhere, all the time, whether data is emailed or shared via cloud sharing solutions such as Dropbox™ or stored on a removable drive.

The CloudLink CX client is deployed automatically and seamlessly to Microsoft Windows® virtual desktops and virtual app servers via Active Directory® Group Policy.  The flexibility of this deployment approach allows CloudLink CX to operate with common VDI solutions such as VMware View™, Citrix® XenDesktop and Microsoft RDS and RemoteFX as well as emerging cloud application portals/gateways such as VMware Horizon™ and Citrix CloudGateway.
