AGA Meets with Sen. Cardin to Discuss Reconsideration of Elements of Dodd-Frank Related to Establishment of Reasonable and Customary Fees
WASHINGTON, Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Guild of Appraisers/OPEIU Guild 44 recently met with Senator Ben Cardin to discuss a petition filed by the AGA requesting a reconsideration by the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau of certain elements of the Interim Final Rule (IFR) of the Dodd-Frank legislation.

The petition outlines areas where AGA feels the IFR has not properly followed the Dodd-Frank legislative mandate related to the establishment of reasonable and customary fees.
The meeting was held at Sen. Cardin's office in the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. on December 6, 2012.
