Agency Magma's World Park Campaign Recognized
Chosen by FWA as Mobile Site of the Day, a finalist in the One Show and a feature in Contagious Magazine.
NEW YORK, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The project known as The World Park, an event and campaign created for New York's Parks and Recreation group, launched in Central Park on Arbor Day weekend 2010. The event received over 1,500 participants and has been announced the FWA Mobile Site of the Day and finalist at the 2011 One Show Interactive for its innovative and integrated branding campaign.
"The project has received so much recognition from the industry -- we couldn't be more excited. Being nominated next to Crispin Porter & Bogusky and Saatchi & Saatchi at the One Show is a big deal for my agency and for me personally," said Michael Ferrare, Founder and Creative Director at Agency Magma.
The agency created small digital tress called Parkodes™, that allowed visitors to scan and connect to content based on their exact location in the park. Ferrare said, "Good design makes innovation and change easier. Getting people to scan small digital tree signage with their smartphones only happens through an inviting and tested design presentation. Both the client and agency are excited about all the success. Now we're really excited to bring The World Park 2.0 back next year."
