• New IT System to Manage Cloud Infrastructure and Applications - As per the release, Freeport-McMoRan's new IT system is a powerful cloud solution is designed to bring new capabilities, economics and innovation to large enterprises. The cloud solution, developed under the collaborative efforts of Accenture, Avanade and Microsoft, incorporates hybrid technologies and services to help build and manage enterprise-wide cloud infrastructure and applications. The report mentioned that the solution would help Freeport-McMoRan to migrate and manage applications between private and public cloud environments in a controlled, seamless and automated way.
