agron inc. Chooses Brandwise Technology to Help Re-Introduce adidas Outdoor to U.S.
Company will use OrderPad and Visual Merchandiser technologies to improve sales processes
LAKEWOOD, Colo., Nov. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- agron, inc., the accessory licensee for adidas America and the United States distributor for adidas Outdoor, has announced it will use Colorado-based Brandwise, Inc.'s OrderPad and Visual Merchandiser technology applications as it reintroduces the product line to North America in 2011. The high-tech Visual Merchandiser application will enable agron, inc. retailers to view product catalogs and collections on a high-definition touch screen or laptop and to easily build complex orders with a tap of the finger or a mouse. The OrderPad website application will allow agron, inc. to easily upload product images to their website for purchasing. The two applications are fully integrated and significantly enhance the buying experience for dealers and sales reps while streamlining the sales process.
"Brandwise has continually impressed us --- with their references, their technology, their services, and their commitment to 'software as a service'," says Jeff Goldman, project manager, agron, inc. "Our team chose both Visual Merchandiser and OrderPad for its ease-of-use, its quick set-up, and its intuitive user interface. We now have the capability to create an order, generate a visual merchandise board, and leave it with, or email it to, the customer for their review."
"We've been surveying merchandising and order writing software for some time and found that Brandwise technology best integrates the ability to visually present a product line and efficiently create an order from the presentation," says Larry Harrison, director of sales with adidas Outdoor. "We didn't want technology to interfere; we wanted our systems to directly aid our effort. Our representatives will be able present our broad line, narrow the offering to a solid presentation on their computer, and write an order following a customer's direction, delivering it to them within minutes. Since the assortment can be printed, emailed, or passed on a thumb drive, the retailer has a visual image of what was purchased and how it might be displayed. The whole process is far less intrusive than the order writing systems that seem intent on transferring order writing responsibility to retailers with no real benefit."
