CALGARY, Sept. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Leading Canadian agriculture technology provider GrowSafe Systems Ltd (GrowSafe) which helps make livestock feeding more efficient and improve animal health and wellbeing, has entered into a strategic alliance with Wheatsheaf Group Limited, a company which is part of the Grosvenor Estate and invests in businesses that offer solutions to resource constraints in food, energy and water.
The partnership will accelerate research and development and support GrowSafe's global expansion.
GrowSafe has pioneered the use of radio-frequency identification (RFID) and sensor based systems in livestock production. Alison Sunstrum, GrowSafe's CEO, added: "Our customers are our greatest advocates and with their support we have developed a system that will revolutionize livestock management. We are extremely pleased to have partnered with Wheatsheaf.
