Ahlbeck & Company Joins SS&G

CLEVELAND, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- SS&G today announced the completion of a merger with Chicago-based Ahlbeck & Company. The addition of 22 staff members to SS&G's roster of more than 400 strengthens SS&G's position as one of the region's preeminent certified public accounting and business advisory firms.

Headquartered in Northeast Ohio, SS&G's new presence in the Chicago market will help expand the firm's already strong base of Illinois clients. "This merger is important to our strategic plan," said Gary Shamis, CPA, M.Acc., managing director of SS&G. Gary Shamis will continue in his current role as managing director of SS&G. Ahlbeck & Company principals, Thomas Ahlbeck, CPA, and Dirk Ahlbeck, CPA, CVA, assume the roles of co-managing directors of SS&G Chicago.
