AIMS Research Foundation Announces 2011 Call for Papers
DENVER, April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AIMS Research Foundation is pleased to announce its annual peer review journal focusing on the management sciences, and an open call for papers with abstracts due by June 30, 2011.
The editorial Schedule for 2011 AIMS Journal of Management Science is concerned with either a Research Article or Case Study in one of three topics: Strategic Management, Competitive Advantage, or metrics within Operations Management being used to Drive Innovation. We will also always accept inquiries for articles about Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Information Management, or Strategic Management as these are the core research areas for the foundation.
"On a global scale markets are constantly in flux, and the views and actions of yesterday do not always lead to success today. The discipline of management must constantly evolve, be self-critical, and its members must share information in a way that advances the field," said Dr. David Lady, Executive Director of the research foundation, "Our journal is one of the first steps in this process, along with quality education, an individual's desire to be self-accountable, and an organization's desire for continual improvement."
Dr. Lady further noted that much of the proceeds collected from the peer review journal go into the foundation's scholarship fund, which is designed to reward graduating high school students who show an aptitude for mathematics and science, encouraging them to pursue further education and careers within technical fields, specifically technology and engineering.
The journal will be published and available in December of each year.
